So for today: Bullet Posts!!!
*I'm in the throes of planning our homeschool year. We are *starting* preschool this year (we did some work last year but Adriana wasn't big into it - besides the art stuff. Haha! This year we are using the Letter of the Week Curriculum from Confessions of a Homeschooler. But I'm mixing it up and all around and doing it the Kumon way, starting with letters that are easier to write. We'll be tackling L, then T, then H. Be on the lookout for fun preschool posts coming soon!!!
*My niece was born last Thursday. She is beautiful and giving me the baby bug BIG time! Take a look at this cutie:

*One way to stay cool is we eat (drink?!?) alot of green smoothies. Well one day when there was a bunch left over, I made them into popsicles. Yes - I am the "cool" mom who gave her kids popsicles for breakfast. LOL.
Yum! |
"Mom, take a picture while I "wook" (lick) it!" |
Look at those faces - I think they enjoyed them!
Well, I believe that's all I have time for now. Hope you'll follow me on my journey back into the land of blogging. See you later!
welcome back to blogging! What kinds of things do you put in your green smoothies? Have any good recipes? I don't think B would eat a smoothie, but he would probably eat them frozen!
ReplyDeleteOh April, I am THRILLED to have you back, young lady! I have missed reading your wonderful blogs.....but I KNOW why you haven't.....because you were given the desires of your heart so many years ago when I first met you. Now we are both moms of multiple kids. How did that happen???? God is so good and so faithful. I love you, girl!
ReplyDeleteFor green smoothies, I throw in some yogurt (normally a cup), some milk, frozen fruit and a handful of (raw) spinach. If you use lighter fruit like strawberries and peaches, the smoothie turns green from the spinach. If you use blueberries, the blue/purple covers the green color (if your LO won't eat it 'cuz it's green). With the fruit, we find it sweet enough but you can also add sugar or honey to taste. Freeze and enjoy! HTH!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I am glad you are blogging again. I am also siked up about putting together my pre-k lessons. I am ready for structure and a schedule again.
